In an overloaded and overwhelming life, learning how to say No is a must.

*Over breakfast with William Ury, Warren Buffet attributed his success to his ability to say No:
“I sit there all day and look at investment proposals. I say No, No, No, No, No, No- until I see one that is exactly what I am looking for. And then I say Yes. All I have to do is say Yes a few times in my life and I’ve made a fortune.”

*Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on the bus. Her No to the driver set in motion the civil rights movement in the US.

*Greg Mckeown, the author of ‘Essentialism’, left his wife and newborn daughter at the hospital to go to a client meeting. He admitted that his failure to say No hurt his family, integrity, and client relationship.

👉A No that stands for what matters is more powerful than a Yes that avoids us trouble.

Fear of losing a deal, a job, or a relationship. There are many reasons for not saying No. But still, we need to learn how to do it elegantly.
